Gustaf III Airport (SBH) is famous for its dramatic short runway and steep approach over St. Jean Beach. Due to its 646-meter runway, it accommodates only small turboprop aircraft and select short takeoff and landing (STOL) planes. Most private jet passengers arrive via nearby islands and connect to St. Barts by turboprop or helicopter.
