San Francisco International Airport accommodates heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft as well as VIP-configured airliners. It provides full customs services and strong FBO infrastructure. Although slightly farther from Menlo Park than SJC, SFO is commonly used for intercontinental and high-capacity aircraft operations. Congestion planning is advised during peak travel periods.
